Kid – with the help of local volunteers – is providing healthy meals every weekday as well as educational enrichment opportunities to Atlanta children in need during the summer.
SLSK is operating out of Inman Park United Methodist (1015 Edgewood Avenue, Atlanta 30307) and Tucker First United Methodist (5095 LaVista Road Tucker 30084).
How Can I Help?
We need Volunteer Drivers!
These volunteers serve in 2-person teams, pledging to pick up lunches at 11:00 am from Inman Park UMC or Tucker First UMC and deliver lunches to one to three stops. Precise instructions along with T-shirts and car magnets are provided.
Volunteer Drivers assume the cost of gas and use of their car as part of their volunteering efforts
