Leadership DeKalb Seeks Community Leaders for Class of 2014

Leadership DeKalb invites community leaders to apply for the Class of 2014. Open Houses will be held on Feb. 26 and March 4 for prospective members to learn more about the leadership development program. 

More than 50 individuals are selected to participate in the 10-month annual curriculum that educates them on issues facing DeKalb County. The Class will participate in seven program days that focus on government, education, health, economic development and other areas, as well as two-day retreats, monthly study group meetings and other thought-provoking activities.

Prospective members are encouraged to attend one of the Open Houses on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at DeKalb Medical at Hillandale at 5900 Hillandale Drive in Lithonia or Tuesday, March 5 at DeKalb Medical Women’s Center at 2701 North Decatur Road in Decatur.

Both events will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a networking reception, followed by a brief program at 6 p.m. with a panel of Leadership DeKalb graduates. Reservations are requested and can be made to Suzanne Fahlstrom, Office Manager, by email at Suzanne@leadershipdekalb.org or phone at 404-373-2491.
