The Lakeside High School One Act Play Competition Team presents "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown", music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, as a one hour musical based on the Peanuts comic strip.  The One Act Team competes on Oct. 20 in the Region One Act Play event against Dunwoody, MLK and SWD high schools. The winner will advance to the state 5A competition in Perry, GA on Nov. 3.

"You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" shows are Oct. 12 , 7pm, Oct. 13, 2:30pm & 7pm, and Oct. 19, 5pm & 7pm. Tickets are $5.

The cast features Clayton Chambers as Charlie Brown, Kieran Mayer as Lucy van Pelt, Len Berg as Linus van Pelt, Sophie Hays as Sally Brown, Sam Armour as Schroeder, Elisa Hoover as Peppermint Patty, Seth Gregson as Snoopy, Jane Baer as Violet, Carolann Baer as Frieda, Lydia Podowitz as Lydia and Tracy Moore as Marcie.  The show is staged and directed by Mrs. Nicole Nappo, with staging assistance by Eleanor Walsh, Julia Clark, Jaelin Watkins and Tracy Moore. Costumes by Tori Moore and Mrs. Jo Moore. Piano accompaniment provided by Mrs. Kathy Roos.

Tickets will be sold Oct. 9-13 at school lunches and after school in the auditorium lobby. Tickets can be reserved for pick-up at the door by emailing lhsdrama@gmail.com. Box Office opens one hour before showtime and house opens thirty minutes prior. Seating is limited to 150 tickets per show.
