Atlanta Diner Shuts Its Doors
The restaurant on North Druid Hills Road has been closed for several weeks.
Diner fans in North Druid Hills may find themselves disappointed with this news: Atlanta Diner has closed.
It was the only legit diner in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff community, and its closure apparently occurred several weeks ago, according to Tomorrow's News Today.
From their post:
The restaurant had been a fixture on North Druid Hills Road, just off I-85, since the mid 90s, and it quietly closed a of couple weeks ago. I'm not exactly sure when it closed, but it appears to have been a fairly recent development.

Disappointing if you ask me. I never ate there, but I liked that idea of a 24-hour diner close to my home. Atlanta Diner was definitely in a less-than-ideal location as it was essentially wedged away from sight at 2071 North Druid Hills Road just west of the I-85 overpass.
How was Atlanta Diner? Does its closure surprise you? Tell us in the comments section below.

There has been a diner there for decades. Wasn't it a Dunk 'N Dine in the 1970's!

Horrible location because of the traffic. Sorry the diner didn't do better but I never heard anything good about it while it was open.
