Cafe Bombay Voted Best Indian Joint in North Druid Hills

The restaurant in Briarcliff Station shopping center beat out nine other Indian restaurants in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff community to win the Patch honor.

If you're driving around looking for good Indian food in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area, Patch readers recommend you head to one place – Cafe Bombay.

The Indian restaurant in the Briarcliff Station shopping center lead the week-long vote, beating out nine other Indian restaurants in the community. Bhojanic on Clairmont Road took second place.

Cafe Bombay serves authentic Indian cuisine with an emphasis on fresh ingredients prepared with the use of a clay oven (or tandoor) and an Indian wok (or karhai). Menu highlights include paneer tikka, sheek kebabs, goat curry, chicken shahi korma and tandoori chicken. Live belly dancing adds to the festive atmosphere, and a private room is available for weddings, birthdays and events.

I absolutely love this place. All of my friends know that if I get to pick lunch or dinner, it's always here. The lunch buffet is out of this world. Don't wear a belt!
