Parents in North Druid Hills go to Carolyn's Cupcakes when they're rewarding their kids with sweets, according to this week's Readers' Choice poll.

The shop beat out several other ice cream and dessert spots, including Bruster's Ice Cream.

Carolyn's Cupcakes & More, owned by Carolyn Atherholt, is located in the Oak Grove shopping plaza. The quaint shop offers plenty of sweet selections, including cupcakes, cookies, whole cakes, bar cookies and breakfast treasts. On a daily basis, customers can find up to 12 flavors of cupcakes and various cookie flavors on display.

The shop specialzes in a super-sized cupcake that feeds 12 or more people, but requires 48-hour notice for such order.
