DeKalb Industrial Way to Experience Periodic Shutdowns
The roadway may be shut down between now and April 20 from North Decatur Road to Lawrenceville Highway while a high-pressure gas line is installed.
Now through April 20, there may be lane closures and traffic delays in the following locations: Katie Kerr Drive, Arcadia and North Arcadia avenues and DeKalb Industrial Way between North Decatur Road and Lawrenceville Highway.
The scope of the project is to install a 24-inch high-pressure gas main that is a portion of the 28-mile section that runs from DeKalb County to Riverdale. This includes milling and asphalt, road boring and landscaping. Lane closures will be in effect at various times and locations around the clock as needed to complete the project as rapidly as possible.
Road closure signs will be posted advising of construction work and traffic detours as necessary.
