Lakeside High's 'Music Man' a Success

The production played to a packed house several nights last week, according to the school's PTSA.

Good news for Lakeside High School's production of The Music Man.

The performances, which were on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, were really successful, according to a note the school's PTSA sent out this week.

From the note:

Congrats to the Cast, Crew, and Orchestra of The Music Man (as well as Ms. Nappo, Mr. Snell, and Mr. Volz) on a phenomenal production, with a full house every night. What a great way to break in the new auditorium!  A special shout out to the show sponsors: MIRKO PASTA, The Mediterranean Grill, and Chick-fil-A on N. Druid Hills.

Did you go to one of the performances? How was it? Any words for the performers? Tell us in the comments section below.

I went to the Saturday night performance and was blown away. You could tell these students had rehearsed well and worked hard. The singing, dancing, acting and costumes were well beyond what you'd expect to see at a high school musical. Will Berg in the title role was superb! The new auditorium was long overdue and created a professional venue in which to perform.
