Man on the Street: National Night Out
Neighbors of the North Briarcliff Civic Association gathered for the 2011 National Night Out.
The North Briarcliff Civic Association hosted a 2011 National Night Out event. Neighbors gathered at Shallowford Presbyterian Tuesday night for a host of safety tips from county officials.
The nationwide effort is held the first Tuesday of August each year and is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness. It also seeks to generate support for local anti-crime programs and strengthen police-community partnerships.
