Man Says Gang Members Robbed Him at Gunpoint
The April 30 robbery at Huntington Station Apartments near Shallowford Road.
An Atlanta man told DeKalb County police two gang members robbed him at gunpoint near Huntington Station Apartments on April 30.
The 22-year-old victim was in a nearby store with the first suspect buying a drink at about 8:30pm, the police report said. The suspect told the victim that he wanted to buy his cell phone for $100 and then asked the victim to walk with him through the woods to his apartment so he could get the money.
When they emerged from the woods behind Huntington Station, 2560 New Bedford Way, the suspect's brother was there to meet them, the report said. The brother pulled out a black handgun from his waistband and placed a bullet in the gun. But one of the bullets fell to the ground.
