North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch has stopped by the 50th anniversary celebration of Druid Hills Youth Sports in Medlock Park.
Hundreds of people, enough bouncy castles to give the 10-year-old version of me a panic attack and a live band playing what sounded like Cheap Trick. (I could be wrong.)
Chick-fil-A, Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint and a pair of clowns painting kids' faces are also here. County Commissioner Kathie Gannon just stopped by Patch's table and clearly knows what's up. The Meltons from Melton's App & Tap also stopped by and said their restaurant is doing great since they reopened earlier this year.
