Oak Grove United Methodist Church will host a brief before-work service on the National Day of Prayer on May 3, including an inspirational message from Decatur Mayor Bill Floyd.

From Virginia Sowell at the church:

On Thursday, May 3, Oak Grove Church will once again observe the National Day of Prayer with a prayer breakfast on the church lawn (weather permitting).  You are invited to the front steps of the Sanctuary at 7 a.m. to enjoy a continental breakfast and then to participate in a special prayer and worship time beginning at 7:30.  An inspirational message will be delivered by Mr. Bill Floyd, the Mayor of Decatur.  We will conclude by 8 a.m. to accommodate daily schedules. Persons of all ages are invited.
