On Oct. 17, the Sophia Academy Eagles took the Atlanta Private Athletic Conference Championship in Boys and Girls (Co-Ed) Soccer. It was the team’s inaugural year for the sport, and they served as a true underdog with only 11 on the team – the minimum number required on the field. The Eagles lost only one game all season, and, despite being outnumbered, they came back to beat the rival team for the championship win of 2-1. Congratulations to all the hardworking players and coaches.
