South Korean Film Shooting at Briarcliff High School

Film trucks have been back at Briarcliff High School on North Druid Hills Road, but it's not MTV's "Teen Wolf" this time.

Films trucks are back at Briarcliff High School on North Druid Hills Road, but it's not MTV's Teen Wolf this time around.

A South Korean film production is currently shooting at the shuttered school for part of this week, DeKalb County School System spokeswoman Joye Burton said. The movie is called Papa.

Papa Productions paid the school system $9,300 to shoot at the school, she said. The school system has rented out the school to Teen Wolf for $1,000 a day, though the television production last winter.

The South Korean film production has been shooting around the Decatur area as well. It wrapped up , which was also used in The Odd Life of Timothy Green starring Jennifer Garner in the winter as well.

Papa is one of several productions that have shot throughout the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area over the last year. Steven Soderbergh's Contagion also shot at the CDC earlier this year as well.
