Toco Hill CVS Responds to Robberies with Armed Guard
The 24-hour store and pharmacy has had an armed guard posted in the store at night for the last six months.
The Toco Hill CVS suffered two armed robberies within three months between December and February.
When asked by Patch what they planned to do about it, a CVS spokeswoman said the nationwide pharmacy chain intended to keep their plans quiet.
I've patronized the store on a near-weekly basis since then (mostly late at night), and the store has had an armed guard on staff since the robberies. It looks to be a regular fixture at the store.
Here are links to stories about the robberies:

What is the useful purpose of this disclosure? I'm fairly certain the author either is not a military veteran or he learned nothing while in service. Please pull this story. Let the armed guards have the advantage, not the thugs.

It's something customers who frequent the store (and it's a pharmacy, so there are many return customers) would likely want to know. And, no, I have no military service history.
