This is an assemblage of outstanding musicians who introduced me (a jazz afficionado) to southern rock in the '70s and started a whole other musical love affair with me!

Wow--how could any good Southern girl NOT want to see this amazing lineup at this amazing venue?! Soooo many memories of bands and place. Saw Bruce Hampton not too long ago at Shorty's and he's still the same energetic rocker as always. Have missed hearing the others. I very respectfully request that you choose me!!!!

Funnily enough, I did some work with the Capricorn label and some of these artists back in the '90s. Interesting bunch. Anyway, good luck to all of you. It should be a great show.

I've actually visited Chuck Leavells house and studio, just south of Macon. He has a large tree farm and is big into tree restoration and study.

His house is very modest for the star that he is, but his studio is absolutely top notch!

Southern rock at it's best! I was born and raised in Athens, GA and saw many of these fine folks performing at The Hedges in the 70's. Any time you can see this much talent all in one place, on one night, you should go if you can!

I was born in Atlnata but spent most of my childhood in Macon. My grandfather owned WIBB radio station featuring Otis, James Brown and The Lone Ranger among others. Our next door neighbor was the road manager for the Allman Brothers. My parents have been great friends of Peggy and Phil Walden since they were all teenagers in Macon. Going to this concert would be a great tribute to my grandfather, my parents, and our southern roots.

Will there be anyone "Streaking" ? Back when R&R was wired, and no one on stage dared to touch more than one object, music was Electric, and Tape was magnetic and used for recording, and then pressing Records.. Will there be anyone passing out the 'joints' ?

As a Macon resident, I have never had the opportunity to see some of my favorite musicians. Some of which are part of the Capricorn family. Oh, I seen tribute bands that were very good, but that ain't the same!

This would be a show worth finding a babysitter for!

My children met Chuck Leavell when he did a book signing, and I would love for them to truly experience what a great artist Chuck is. I had the pleasure of seeing him with the Stones at Grant Field, and to have met him and experienced what a humble, modest person he is makes him that much more wonderful!

When I came south I heard Sea Level for the first time. Took me 20 yrs to figure out the name of the band was a play on Chuck' name. Great mix of jazz & rock. Randall Bramlett & band played at the Mableton amphitheater a couple of weeks ago & put on an awesome performance. Col. Bruce is a legend in the Atlanta area & every time I've seen him I've been impressed. Wet Willie probably had the most commercial success & a great string of albums. I remember Cowboy from their debut & having Clapton cover one of their songs on his album.
This a great gathering of veteran musicians that should put on one fantastic show.
