Witnesses: Buford Highway Bar Shooter Was Defending Woman

The man, who police shot and killed late Saturday night at El Trebol Billiards bar, was possibly defending a woman when he shot four people.

Witnesses say the man who was shot and killed by police Saturday night after he shot four people at a Buford Highway bar may have been defending a woman.

From a story in WSB-TV:

A deadly bar shooting in DeKalb County may have had something to do with someone inappropriately touching a woman.

Several witnesses who did not want to be identified told Channel 2’s Erica Byfield that the man who died was trying to defend a woman.

The four victims were taken to a nearby hospital. The shooting occurred just before midnight at the El Trebol Billards bar at 5280 Buford Highway.

The title of this story makes it appear as if the idiot that shot 4 people was honorable.

No, the headline just says what it says: that witnesses said the shooter may have been trying to protect a woman when he shot four people. It says nothing about honor.
