The Winship Win the Fight 5K supports advances in cancer research, treatment, and patient care at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.The Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in Atlanta is Georgia’s only National Cancer Institute-Designated Cancer Center. For 75 years, Winship has worked tirelessly to prevent, treat and cure cancer with a culture that integrates discovery, innovation, and caring.
Family and friends, runners and walkers, young and old alike will join together again on October 13, 2012 to make a difference in the battle against cancer as they
enjoy the scenic course through the historic Druid Hills neighborhood. Faculty and staff will be there running with you or cheering you on, and providing the latest information on nutrition, exercise, and support services. We look forward to seeing you there and thank you for supporting cancer research at Winship.
