Oaktoberfest Set for Saturday

Good morning from North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch. As you start your day, here are five things to know from the neighborhood.
Oaktoberfest and Chili Cook-Off: The inaugural Oaktoberfest and Chili Cook-Off is planned for Saturday, Oct 26, from 2-7 p.m in the Oak Grove Shopping Center parking lot, 2749 Lavista Road, Decatur. You can enter the Chili Cook Off for $10 (sign up at Oak Grove Market) or for $5 give all the entries a taste. There will be live music and activities for the kids. All proceeds will benefit Contribute2America.
Sherwood Chiropractic Center Harvest Party: The center, located at 1275 McConnell Drive, Suite E, Decatur, will hold its annual party at 3 p.m. today. Check out party details in their recent post to the Events Calendar.

Fellini's Pizza ranks nationally: The Daily Meal website has its list of the 101 Best Pizzas in America for 2013, and Fellini's Pizza, which has a LaVista Road location, is ranked 70th. There were few Southern eateries on the list. The only other metro area pizzeria ranked was Antico Pizza in Midtown at 62.
Cooler weather: Weather. com predicts a cooler, breezy day, with a high of 61 in this area.
