Throw Your Groggers Up With Young Israel of Toco Hills

A Purim parody the Orthodox congregation created in March has gotten more than 20,000 YouTube hits, and it's on sale on iTunes.

The Jewish holiday of Purim was over two months ago. But North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch only found out about "Groggers Up" yesterday. What's "Groggers Up" you ask?

It's a rap song about Purim made by kids at . What's Purim you ask? It's a holiday celebrating Jewish deliverance. What are groggers? They're noisemakers used to celebrate said deliverance. This spoof contains more inside references than your rabbi's diary, but it was simply too delightfully absurd and ambitious not to put on the site.

The video, which spoofs Trey Songz' "Bottoms Up," has already gotten more than 20,000 hits on YouTube, and you can buy the song on iTunes. Apologies if this gets stuck in your head the rest of the day.
