Oak Grove UMC Trunk-or-Treat

Rain or shine event!

Please join Oak Grove United Methodist Church's Halloween "Trunk-or-Treat"! What is Trunk-or-Treat? It's when several families get together at the church, park their cars in the closed-off area of the parking lot, open up the trunks of their cars, and kids come around to each car to Trunk-or-Treat instead of going house to house to Trick-or-Treat. Feel free to decorate your trunk and participate in the "Best Decorated Car" contest-a prize will be awarded!.

Schedule of events:
6:30 to 7:00 - Check-in at registration table and park in back parking lot. Free hot dogs and lemonade while supplies last.
7:00 - Costume Parade
7:15 - 8:00 - Trunk-or-Treating and award given to "Best Decorated Car"

NEW THIS YEAR: Please bring bring baby diapers, baby wipes and baby food to donate to "Caring for Clarkston", a charity that serves Clarkston refugees and is supported by the OCUMC Youth, The Revolution.  Your child can bring the items to a car decorated for "C4C" and enjoy the spirit of giving!

Come in costume and bring your goody bag, flashlights and lawn chairs. Please ensure decorations and costumes are appropriate for this church event (no blood, gore or evil please). All children need to be accompanied by a parent.

Please rsvp so the church can plan for enough food and volunteers.  You will be updated via email before the event so that you can plan for how much candy and/or treats to bring. One piece of wrapped candy or one treat, such as a pencil, sticker, bookmark, etc. per child is plenty!
