Good Growth DeKalb Benefit Concert! Good Growth DeKalb, a group dedicated to sustainable growth in greater Decatur, is organizing to stop a 149,000 sq. foot Walmart Supercenter at Suburban Plaza (where Scott Blvd., N. Decatur and Medlock Roads come together in the big 6-way intersection).

Performing at the benefit will be Mudcat, Aviva & the Flying Penguins, Andy Makely Band, Janna Nelson and Scott Hooker, Veronika Jackson, Moira Nelligan & The Dixie Jigs, and poet Theresa Davis. The show will be a celebration of all things local and includes a silent auction featuring a great collection of original art, vacation home stays, and tickets to some of Atlanta's best venues. Music starts at 8:00; doors open at 7:00 for silent auction.
