'Sex and the City' Author Coming to Eagle Eye Book Shop Wednesday
Candace Bushnell will make an unscheduled stop at the North Decatur Road store to promote her new book, "Summer and the City." But it won't be easy–or even possible–to meet her.
Candace Bushnell, author of the smash book Sex and the City, will stop by on Wednesday to promote her new novel.
But it will be pretty difficult to meet her. The author–whose compilation of New York Observer columns spawned the hit HBO TV series–isn't' stopping by at any particular time. Her visit to the book store is not part of her scheduled book tour, according to an email the shop sent out to customers Saturday.
The book shop, however, will allow customers to purchase Bushnell's books in advance to have them signed and even personalized provided you give them a ring beforehand. Bushnell will be in Atlanta promoting Summer and the City, a sequel to The Carrie Diaries, the origin story of her iconic and single New York heroine, Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker in the TV show).
