Fork in the Road to Open at Northlake Mall on Monday

The restaurant is one of several new tenants in the mall.

Foodies take notice: Fork in the Road will open at Northlake Mall on Monday, the mall said this week.

The new restaurant has no website to speak of yet, but it's one of a series of new tenants at the mall.

Here's a link to a story we ran in July:

Will you check out the new restaurant? And how often do you go to Northlake Mall? Tell us in the comments section below.

We will definitely check it out, I hope it is family-friendly.

We are very likely to check out this restaurant. I have shopped the Mall from nearly the time that it was opened, but I rarely go there now, although it is walking distance from my home. Despite the physical attractiveness of the interior and its food court, Simon is completely out of touch with the wants and needs of its close neighbors and, indeed seems to have gone to great lengths to insure that the affluent neighbors are driven to some of their other properties which are not so convenient. It seems clear that they have written off this property, which could again be very attractive and successful.

I completely agree, I often drive to Perimeter Mall for shopping. There is so much opportunity for decent retail and restaurants that would serve our neighbors in the Briarcliff-LaVista area.

Northlake years ago stopped attracting the people who actually live in this area. Neither the vibe nor most of the products fit the area. Obviously Northlake is no longer interested in attracting the locals who, for the most part, are middle or upper middle class people with incomes to match. I now shop at Perimeter.
