With Passover approaching, select Atlanta-area Krogers are expanding a variety of kosher products to help customers prepare for Passover celebrations. Since mid-February, five metro-area locations have enhanced kosher sections to include kosher sugar, milk, Coca-Cola, gluten-free cake mixes, Matzo and other Passover-related items.
“Passover is a time for the Jewish community to celebrate our heritage and reflect on the hardships the Jewish community has overcome,” says Moshe Sapir, mashgiach or lead kosher supervisor at the Fountain Oaks Kroger for the past eight years. “I’m grateful to be part of a company that supports our community and holidays.”
Enhanced Passover sections can be found near the front of the store at the following Kroger locations:
- 2205 Lavista Road, Atlanta, GA, 30329
- 2090 Dunwoody Club Drive, Atlanta, GA, 30350
- 4920 Roswell Road, Atlanta, GA, 30342
- 227 Sandy Springs Place, Sandy Springs, GA, 30328
- 4880 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA, 30068
“Kroger has received an outpouring of positive feedback from our customers who appreciate that they can buy items for Passover from their local Kroger,” says Glynn Jenkins, director of communications and public relations for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “We are pleased to provide a greater selection of kosher, gluten-free and other Passover items this holiday.”
Passover sections will remain in select locations through the end of the holiday, which begins Friday, April 6 and ends Saturday, April 14.
