North DeKalb Mall Opens at 9 A.M. on Black Friday

North DeKalb Mall and other Atlanta area malls have announced their operating hours for Black Friday--the day after Thanksgiving--and other days this weekend.

North DeKalb Mall

  • Thanksgiving Day: Mall closed.
  • Friday, Nov. 23: 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. Santa Claus will arrive at the mall at 9:45 a.m. Friday and start the “Magic Singing Christmas Tree” in the Food Court.
  • Saturday, Nov. 24: 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 25: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

The Simon Property Group announced these hours for several malls over the Black Friday weekend.

Northlake Mall (4800 Briarcliff Road)

  • Thanksgiving Day: Mall closed.
  • Friday, November 23: 4 a.m.-10 p.m.; select retailers will open at midnight.
  • Saturday, November 24: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 25: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Lenox Square (3393 Peachtree Rd., N.E.)

  • Thanksgiving Day: Mall closed.
  • Friday, November 23: Midnight – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 24: 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 25: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Phipps Plaza (3500 Peachtree Rd., N.E.)

  • Thanksgiving Day: Mall closed.
  • Friday, November 23: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 24: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 25: 12 – 5:30 p.m.

Mall of Georgia (3333 Buford Drive)

  • Thanksgiving Day: Mall closed.
  • Friday, November 23: Midnight – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 24: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 25: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Town Center at Cobb (400 Barrett Parkway)

  • Thanksgiving Day: Mall closed.
  • Friday, November 23: Midnight – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 24: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 25: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
