Northlake's Chick-fil-A Opens to the Masses

After months of anticipation, the chicken sandwich restaurant opened Thursday morning to a legion of fans who camped overnight for the chance to win free food.

Chick-fil-A on LaVista Road in Northlake opened this morning at 6am to a legion of commuters and fans who camped overnight for the chance to win a year of free food.

North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch contributor Tom Doolittle was there and took a few snapshots of the opening, which included appearances by some local leaders including DeKalb County Police Chief William O'Brien and District 1 County Commissioner Elaine Boyer.

Patch also had a videographer and contributor John Awtrey there as well, so expect a video from him tomorrow morning.
