Is Red Pepper getting all their friends to rig the vote? How can a place that opened 2 months ago be the area go-to night spot? I'd be 95% of people in the area haven't heard of it. Let's get a legit vote here.

The word "rig" would imply they're doing something illegal or wrong. But I think it's obvious they're campaigning.

Jonathan - If the point is to actually get a legitimate answer to the question at hand then yes it is being rigged, hijacked, etc. If it's a contest to see which business in our area is the most technology savvy, connected to social media, and proactive in trying to win customers, then Red Pepper wins.

I want to pay for chips and salsa, please.

Again, I gotta disagree with your use of the word "rigged" as it essentially says some kind of fraud is going on. I see no evidence of that. As for everything else you're saying... free free to interpret the results as you like.

ok, rigged implies both sides are in on it so that's the wrong word choice. hijackd is better.
