SunTrust Wins 11 Greenwich Awards for Excellence in Small Business Banking

SunTrust Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SunTrust Banks, Inc. (NYSE:STI), recently won 11 Greenwich Excellence Awards for distinctive quality in serving the financial needs of small business clients in 2013.

SunTrust was among a select group of financial institutions recognized by Greenwich Associates, which evaluated more than 750 banks for the awards.

• Treasury Management – Customer Service

In 2013, Greenwich Associates surveyed more than 17,000 small businesses with annual revenues of $1 million to $10 million. Respondents were asked to name the banks they used and to rate these providers in a variety of product and service categories. Banks that received customer ratings that topped those of competitors by a statistically significant margin at a 95 percent confidence level were named Greenwich Excellence Award Winners.
