Tomorrow is the culmination of “Elevate 2012”, presented by City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs. The purpose of “Elevate 2012” is to transform buildings,  windows, sidewalks and public spaces into “works of art and inspiration” and to get folks exploring downtown.  The streets will be closed to vehicles on South

more.  Dress up your little Cowboys(or girls) and your Native American Indians and join the parade starting at 2 pm (gather up at 1:30 pm).  The fee for this

Only a place like Inman Park could combine exercise and drinking beer all to benefit the Inman Park Neighborhood Security Patrol.  The fee to participate in the race is $30 and the Beer Festival is $40 in advance and $45 at the event.  There is a combo ticket option, but I wasn’t able to figure out the cost, sorry.  For the Beer Festival, you will receive your own tasting glass and can sample up to 100 craft beers.  The race begins at 11 am at the corner of Lake Avenue and Elizabeth Street and the festival will be on Elizabeth Street between N. Highland and Lake Ave.  Parking for the event will be at the Stoveworks parking lot at 112 Krog Street  http://www.inmanparkbeerchase.com/
