The gas price narrative in North Druid Hills this year has been a painful one. Here's the best way to deal with that pain.
About a month ago, gas in our community averaged about $3.07 a gallon. Which was bad. But it didn't make us cry.
Then we refilled our tank on Friday, saw the final price ($50 to fill up a Honda Accord) and felt the urge start a riot in the snack shop.
Fortunately, we regained our composure and decided the best way to deal with the situation might again be to check where the best gas deals are here in North Druid Hills. Generally speaking, if you want to pay less for gas, head for the suburbs – or the exurbs since we live in the suburbs. What does that mean? Go east, my friend. Residents of Clarkston and Stone Mountain are paying fewer cents per gallon right now.
