Rain Moving In, Cold Air May Be on the Way
The North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area is set for a wet week of cooler temperatures as a cold front moves into Georgia. Freezing temperatures could arrive next week.
Following a warm weekend in the 70s, Georgia is set for rain, cooler temps and maybe even a blast of cold air from the north.
A rainy Monday and Tuesday accompany cooler weather and a cold front, as it moves from out west to the east by midweek, according to The Weather Channel.
Forecasters give the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area a 90 percent chance of rain on Monday, when the high is expected to reach 63, and 80 percent chance on Tuesday with a high of 58, according to the National Weather Service. Showers are expected to taper off Wednesday and Thursday, as low temperatures dip to 40 and 35, respectively. Highs are forecast for the mid 50s.
