Sagamore Hills Elementary Wins $6K from Kroger

The award is part of the grocery store's Earning Plus Learning competition.

Sagamore Hills Elementary School won $6,000 from Kroger, the school said Tuesday.

The award is part of the grocery store's Earning Plus Learning competition where schools had to submit a video "showing how our school represents the themes of Diversity, Nutrition, Exercise, Fair Play, and Helping Others," a school statement said.

The school's video was submitted by Andrea and Anjali Sharma and Sally Wright.

Locally, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School also won $1,500 in the competition.
