The Week Ahead: Cityhood, Concert, Festival and More
Five things to know about the week ahead in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area.
- Lakeside City Alliance Meeting: Monday. The Lakeside City Alliance will hold a meeting on Monday, May 20 at Evansdale Elementary from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Volunteers from the Lakeside City Alliance, a non-profit group of neighborhood volunteers, will take questions from the community about the pros and cons of incorporations of a new city.
- Chamblee Fourth Friday Concert Series: This three concert series will offer a relaxing event for the whole family. Bring out your blankets and lawn chairs, or reserve one of our VIP Tables to enjoy an evening of good music in Chamblee’s downtown. Food and beverages will be available for purchase onsite.
- GREAT Jubilee Family Festival: Saturday at Oglethorpe University. The GREAT Jubilee Family Festival is an inexpensive & fun way to entertain your whole family and a have a fun afternoon in the beautiful grounds of Oglethorpe University.
- Kids Go Wild - Nature Day Camp: All week at Shallowford Presbyterian Church.
- Tuesday Tunes: At North DeKalb Mall. De-stress with the soothing sounds of Thom Coleman on Tuesday Tunes at noon.
