The Week in Review

The top five stories from the previous week in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area.

  1. Missing North Druid Hills Musician's Truck Found in North Texas: The biggest story in North Druid Hills in months. We'll be following this as it progresses.
  2. Rat Problem Shuts Down Melton's: Not nearly as serious as the disappearance of Steven Marchi but still a huge story for a lot of readers. We'll also be following this, particularly when the owners determine whether and when they'll reopen.
  3. Panel Discusses Transportation Sales Tax: This story's going to have big ramifications for the entire metro Atlanta area, including some big-time changes in North Druid Hills. More to come.
  4. Decatur Neighborhoods Concerned About Proposed Suburban Plaza Walmart: Forces against Suburban Plaza and Walmart seem to be aligning. Another story we're following.
  5. Police Unsure Why Discovery of Missing Truck Didn't Reach Them Sooner: This is sort of a half a story, but an important one. A lot of questions about this tag issue remain unanswered, and it's North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch's goal to answer some of those questions this week.
