The Week in Review

The top five stories from the previous week in North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch.

  1. : This got a lot of people's attention. The DeKalb County Police Department continues to have issues with its crime map, so hopefully our crime reporting will pick up soon once that's fixed.
  2. : It'll be interesting to see how McMahan's election changes the school board (if at all). We'll find out soon enough, starting in Janaury.
  3. : We've been covering this issue because it includes Suburban Plaza and parts of North Decatur we typically cover. It's good to keep in mind though because there's plenty more unincorporated land north of this proposed boundary that would be ripe for incorporation as well.
  4. : School board budgetary cuts are reaching the schools. An anecdotal example.
  5. : This story alarmed some parents, apparently.
