  1. : The DeKalb County Board of Education passed a resolution for a $475 million SPLOST continuation that will continue pay for new schools and renovations throughout the area. The above story detailed what we're set to get in our community. 
  2. : If this area could use anything, it's a little sound reorganization. North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch reported on efforts to redevelop and organize the area near , a project that might have been moving quicker were it not for the sluggish economy.
  3. : As it turns out, this story may be part of a much larger story regarding car break-ins after school lets out. (But who knows for sure.) I just looked at a crime map one day last week, saw a strange grouping of car break-ins in an area not typically plagued by them and figured it was a decent story. So, be on the lookout. These kinds of crimes–and crime in general–increases during the summer.
  4. : A continuation of North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch's excessive coverage of neighborhood coyotes. Don't let your dogs out alone at night. That's all we're saying.
