The Week in Review

The top five stories from the previous week in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area.

  1. : Huge news. It's placement at the top of this list would only be changed if the Braves' mascot was photographed on fire running across Toco Hill Shopping Center with a stolen bag of bananas while he was chased by an armed police officer. (And if any of you readers out there ever see anything that remotely resembles that, I'm your first call. It's me, then the police.)
  2. : A report that started with the popular (?) Decatur Dispatch community news magazine. Seems a bit ambitious to have all this done by the end of the year. North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch is working on getting more details here.
  3. : A Census-based story thanks to our Assistant Regional Editor Tim Darnell.
  4. : Last week, the county police department's North Precinct in Dunwoody claimed violent crime in the precinct was down 25 percent this year. Now, they gotta hit the robberies.
  5. : A great idea that could be useful to the people in that neighborhood.Β
