Week Ahead: Cityhood, Music Lessons and More
What's going on this week in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area.
- DeKalb Delegation's Cityhood Town Hall Meeting: A town hall meeting on Monday, May 6, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Clairmont Hills Baptist Church, 1995 Clairmont Drive, Decatur 30033, on the corner of Clairmont Road and North Druid Hills Road. This meeting will allow all DeKalb citizens to learn about the options available to them for local governance, and how they may participate in the local governance efforts that will be on-going this summer.
- Free Ukulele Lessons at Shallowford Presbyterian Church: Wednesday. Taught by David Saunders, a talented local musician, the lessons are free and the community is invited to participate.
- National Mom's Night Out at Northlake Mall: Thursday. It’s high time for moms to be pampered.
- Emory Tennis Clinics: Tuesday. Most sessions are offered in six class intervals or you can feel free to do a drop in class for $25 (just email Coach Browning in advance at jbrow25@emory.edu).
