1. DEKALB MASTER GARDENER ASSOCIATION PLANT SALE

When/Where: Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the parking lot near Macy’s (wheelchair accessible).

Why Go:  Rain or shine, head out to this fundraiser supporting DMGA programs and scholarships. Choose from a selection of hundreds of perennials and a selection of trees and shrubs - all supplied for your gardening pleasure by DMGA members and friends.  Feel free to bring your own wheelbarrow or garden cart.

2. GEORGIA IRIS SOCIETY SHOW 

When/Where: Saturday from 11:00am to 4:00pm at .

Why Go: If you appreciate the beauty of the Iris, (how can you not?) than “The Spirit of the Garden”, presented by the Georgia Iris Society, is the show for you! (The Georgia Iris Society is also hosting an Iris sale this weekend in Tucker. Check the website for details.)

Pricing: Free and open to the public.

3. LAUGHING PIZZA 

When/Where: Saturday evening from 5:00pm to 7:00pm hosted by .

Why Go: Bring the whole family out to Laughing Pizza (the mom, dad, daughter family band) for an evening of musical fun!

Pricing: $6.50

4. SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY ORCHESTRA BIG BAND DANCE

When/Where: Saturday at 8:00pm in the Ballroom.

Why Go: If you enjoy big band music and Ballroom and Swing dance, this inaugural Big Band Dance is open to both skilled professional dancers and dance enthusiasts.  During band breaks the floor will be opened to professional and skilled dancers showcasing performance style and ballroom dance.  *Arrive at 7:00pm to take advantage of a free dance lesson.

Pricing: $15.00 single; $25.00 couple.  

5. THE CLOWN VIRTUOSO

When/Where: Sunday at 2:00pm at the .

Why Go: It's a symphony performance for the whole family! The Atlanta Philharmonic Orchestra presents The Clown Virtuoso featuring an interactive performance between clown and children and selections by Handel, Shostakovich, Rossini and Schubert.

Pricing: General Admission $15.00; Students/Seniors $10.00.
