Want to know what's going on in the neighborhood this weekend? Patch let's you know.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars/restaurants/shops to explore.

  1. When/Where: Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, tomorrow from 9:30am - 6:30pm
Why Go: My Lord, does this sound delicious. Baklava, kourabiedes, koulourakia, spanakopita and tiropita are just some of the homemade yummies that will be for sale.  You can place an order in advance at http://www.atlgoc.org/whats-new.html.
Pricing: Admission is free. In a perfect world, the baked goods would be too. Sadly...

  2. When/Where
    : Toco Hill-Avis G. Williams Library, tomorrow from 1:30pm - 3:30pm
Why Go: Because the library is showing Bright Star, which is an awesome period piece that not enough people saw when it was released to theaters a year or two ago. The movie, directed by the great Kiwi director Jane Campion, details the love affair between the famous English poet John Keats and his great love, Fanny Brawne. It's also rated PG, so it's kiddie-safe.
    Pricing: Free

  3. When/Where
: Clairmont Presbyterian Church, Saturday, from 8am - noon
Why Go: Because you've already done a heck of a lot of damage at the Greek Bake Sale. You might as well go collateral at a pancake breakfast and call it a weekend tour. Seriously. Besides pancakes, sausage patties, fruit bowl, grits, coffee and juice, mops and brooms are available for purchase. All proceeds benefit Lions' charities.
    Pricing: $6

  4. When/Where
    : , Wilson Field, Saturday at 1pm
Why Go: Because you're American. Spring baseball is one of life's simple pleasures. Plus, the Braves are expensive. Keep the money in the community, people. Oh, yeah, and Lakeside is also playing M.L.K. Jr. High School.

  5. When/Where
    : , all weekend
Why Go: It's sponsored by Peeps, and they're pushing a new Peeps product on you. Go get your kids high on sugar.
    Pricing: Free
