Do you want to start keeping bees, or are you simply curious about how honey gets made? Join Véronique Perrot, beekeeper of the Oakhurst Garden hives, for an introduction to bees and beekeeping. We will cover the workings of a bee colony, the role of honey bees and native bees, and the basics of beekeeping equipment and paraphernalia. If weather allows, we will look inside one of the Garden's hives, so come with light-colored long sleeved shirt and long pants. Handouts will be provided.

5 person Minimum and Advanced registration is required. We recommend registering 2-3 days in advance. Contact Andrea@wyldecenter.org for questions or concerns.
