Compassion Meditation and Discussion

The
practice of compassion meditation leads people to the expansion of compassion
for self, others, and the world. Join with others in learning and sharing this
meditation practice on Tuesday evenings, 5:45 to 6:30 PM, at the Rice Center
for Spiritual Practice at Central Congregational United Church of Christ, 2676
Clairmont Rd NE Atlanta. The group is led by the Rev. Dr. Lou Kavar, who has
practiced meditation for over 30 years. Join in the discussion followed by a 20
minute meditation sitting.   This week’s
discussion will focus on the Four Immeasurables from Buddhism and how they
provide a foundation for compassion meditation. The group is free of charge,
but donations are accepted. For more information, call (404) 633-4505.
