Conversation/book talk with Stacy Braukman, Richard Rhodes and Randy Gue

Stacy Braukman, author of “Communists and Perverts under the Palms: The Johns Committee in Florida” and Richard Rhodes, an Atlanta-area LGBT legend who fled Florida out of fear of harassment, will discuss the Johns Committee, a state legislative group formed in the post-World War II and Cold War era that investigated professors, teachers and students accused of homosexuality. Randy Gue, curator of LGBT collections and modern political and historical collections at Emory’s Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library (MARBL), will lead the conversation.
