Drop-in Plant Medicine Making Workshop at Sugar Creek Garden

Drop-in Plant Medicine Making Workshop at Sugar Creek Garden
Sunday, March 9, 4 - 5:30 pm

Suggested Donation of $5 Wylde Center Members, $10 Non Members

Location: Sugar Creek Garden at the back of the Oakhurst Presbyterian Church Parking Lot, near the intersection between E. Lake Drive and 2nd Ave. GPS Address: 415 E. Lake Dr., Decatur, GA 30030.

Join Dara in this interactive workshop as we observe and learn about the healing power of plants. We will focus on a specific plant or group of plants that may be sustainably harvested at Sugar Creek Garden. As we harvest and prepare the plant, we will discuss its healing properties. Depending on the plant, we may make a tincture, salve, or syrup. Please bring your own supplies: 1 quart size mason jar, cutting board, knife, bowl (for sorting plant material). Stay tuned to our class calendar and we will let you know any other materials you need depending on the theme of the month's workshop. If the weather is poor the class may be canceled.

We recommend registering 2-3 days in advance. Contact Andrea@wyldecenter.org for questions or concerns.
