Fat Tuesday Pancakes & Pajamas
All ages are welcome to attend our free pancake dinner -- in pajamas or festive attire -- to celebrate the coming season of Lent. The Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, often called "Fat Tuesday" (Mardi Gras) is a traditional day of celebration for people of Christian faith around the world. Pancakes are associated with the day preceding Lent because they were a way to use up rich foods such as eggs, milk, and sugar, before the 40 days of fasting and discipline during Lent. Come join the feast!
