Mary Scott Nature Park is 10.6 acres of central DeKalb County greenspace featuring a kids play area and a nature trail highlighting native plants and leading to an old homestead.
The Friends of Mary Scott Nature Park, a volunteer community group, is dedicated to the betterment of the park. Neighbors are welcome to come to the meetings and support the park.
The Friends monthly meetings have been changed for the summer. Friends of MSNP will meet on the second Wednesday of the month in conjunction with Friends groups from other central DeKalb parks. Location & time TBA check the website. The idea is that there will be time for an all-group sharing of information and time for each individual park's group to work on things specific to their most local park.
