Prayer Services for Pastor's Son Today

This was sent to me: an email from Dana Everhart. is having two prayer services for the son of Glenn and Cathy Ethridge, Andrew. Glenn Ethridge is a senior pastor at the church.

Friends,  

Many of you are aware that Glenn and Cathy Ethridge's son Andrew has been diagonised with a severe virus infection or a brain tumor. Andrew is at Emory University awaiting more scans and tests to determine the full nature of his illness. Glenn and Cathy are very worried.  

I would like to ask any of you that can to meet with me [today] at 2 PM at the Oak Grove UMC for a time of Prayer for the Ethridges. I know we don't do this for every spouse or parent but this is one of our children, one of our own PK's and we need to come together as family and pray for Andrew and for his family. I am very concerned and feel led by God to call us together for a brief service of prayer.  

I know you might be busy and that is fine but please STOP what you are doing at 2:00 and join us in prayer for at least 20 minutes. I hope we can join together for this time and give our support to the Ethridge and especially to Andrew.  

Please no visitors to the hospital just yet emails to Glenn and Cathy are appreciated. I will do my best to keep you informed but please if you can join me tomorrow at 2 at Oak Grove for this time of prayer.
