Lakeside Lacrosse Club getting ready for 2013 season!

Lakeside Lacrosse prepares for 2013 season

The Lakeside Lacrosse Cub will start preparations for the 2013 season with the first practice of the year on Saturday, January 19th 2013 at 10:00AM. The practices will be held on the field beside Adams stadium (Behind the old Briarcliff High School). Anyone interested in playing or learning more about the sport should plan on attending the practice. Those players who already have equipment should bring it with them to practice but equipment will be available for anyone needing it.

This will be the second season for the Lakeside Lacrosse Club and they are looking to improve on last year's 12-10 season under the direction of Coaches Joe Szombathy and Rick Fulcher.

The club is open to young men grades 8th-12th and who live in the general Lakeside community regardless of skill level. Last year's winning team consisted of 31 young men from the community, 18 of whom had never played the sport before. The only requirement is an interest to learn more about the game.
