Attempted Robbery on Christmas Eve

A home in the North Briarcliff area was the target of an attempted break-in on Dec. 24.

A neighbor reported an attempted burglary on Christmas Eve on Foster Ridge [Drive]/Overlook [Drive]:

"I came home tonight around 9pm to find a two or three young men attempting to break into my house. When they saw me, they ran off towards Overlook Drive."

This is not just one individual, but several together attempting theft. PLEASE STAY ALERT and report anything or anyone suspicious in your area - call 911. There have been several incidents of attempted break ins (and one break in) lately. We want to do the best we can to keep our neighborhoods safe and secure.

ESPECIALLY WITH HOLIDAY GIFTS - Do NOT place gift boxes out at the curb advertising what you've received. This applies especially to electronics!
